Academia Management Solutions International (AMSI) successfully held the first conference of AMSI Voices, a networking platform for empowering students. Themed "Girls are Makers of Change", the event held at the Bustan Rotana Hotel attracted distinguished women personalities from diverse fields.

The event comprised of three engaging panel discussions that addressed women's participation in the corporate world and the larger society. A discussion titled "Challenges in the Work Place" aimed to recognize the rising tide of women employment in the country and region, and reflect on ways to enhance participation and contribution to the economy. Balancing Work and Family was driven towards encouraging a harmonious lifestyle that helps women benefit from the best of both worlds - family and business. This panel discussion was moderated by Hind Abdul Hamied Seddiqi, Chief Marketing Officer of Seddiqi Holding who also ranks 23rd in Forbes Middle East list of Most Influential Arab Women in Family Business. "I am so proud to be a member of AMSI Voices initiative. I called Al Mawakeb Home for 14 years (kg-12) and am delighted my children are calling ISAS home today. As an AMSI Alumnus and AMSI Mother, I will make sure I will make a difference and inspire AMSI girls to become Makers of Change".

The concluding discussion "Committing to a Dream" was held to foster confidence amongst young girl students to recognize their talents and passion for good work and success. This discussion was moderated by Alissar Nasr Soubra, Chief Academic Officer at AMSI, who also shed light on the key takeaways from the AMSI Voices event: "I am pleased to witness the highly engaging, focused, and inspiring conversations at the inaugural edition of AMSI Voices. It is important to motivate students at an early stage and propel them on the path towards discovering their strengths and overcoming challenges.
