Our Dear Parents,

I have been part of Al Mawakeb family for the past 26 years as a teacher, head of section and as a Principal. Over all these years, I have learned the importance of each role and am honored to be part of a community where parents, students, and staff share common values and work together to nurture caring and happy learners. Where we all work together to create an environment that is uniquely ours; uniquely loving, kind and respectful, an environment where family is the basis to our Al Mawakeb ethos, an ethos like no other.

I would like to welcome you to the beginning of what promises to be a wonderful learning journey for our students. We are thrilled to have all our students back in our classrooms and hallways filling them with energy and enthusiasm for learning and growing. We have missed the liveliness of having our entire student body on campus. While many challenges remain, we are optimistic and determined that this will only make us stronger and more resilient.

Parent and school partnerships are essential to both the wellbeing of every child and to the community at large. Health and safety and students’ wellbeing in school and at home must remain our top priorities. As a school, we recognize the impact that COVID has had on our children’s learning and overall growth. We are committed to their social, academic and emotional development and will take every possible measure to ensure that all children are supported and continue to progress.

To all our parents, returning and new, we thank you for putting your faith in us and trusting us.

We wish you all a safe and successful year.

Sincerely,
Moussa Chahbaz
